Nino Schurter took the all-new SIDI Drako all the way to the top of the worlds, winning another XC world championship for himself, and adding another set of rainbow stripes to SIDI’s impressive wins tally.
That’s two world championships for Schurter, who scored his first rainbow jersey in 2009, and coincidentally won the 2012 World Cup.
And he’s just one of four SIDI athletes to medal at mountain bike world championships this year—Czech rider Ondrej Cink won the U23 category, and Italian Daniele Braidot scored bronze in the same division. What’s more, Daniele’s twin brother Luca anchored the Italian National Team for the team relay event, where Italy captured the gold medal.
Way to go, Nino! And congratulations to our SIDI medal winners.
